Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is medium. A new bipolar AR (NOAA 11824) has rapidly emerged over the last 24 hours adjacently to the east of NOAA region 11818. It appears to have destabilised yesterday's target region (NOAA 11818), which was responsible for two M-class events (an M3.3 and M1.4 event on 17-Aug-2013 at 18:24 and 19:33, respectively). The delta spot within NOAA 11818 remains strong, and the internal polarity separation line has strengthened. Further C-class activity is expected, while further M-class activity is possible.
The position of NOAA 11818 on 18-Aug-2013 at 16:00 UT is: S07W42, ( 630", -198" )
