MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1678 has completed west limb passage. 1678 was the source B- and C-class activity since the last message. The largest event was a C4.7 at 02/23/16:09 UT. The new target region will be the return of old NOAA 1665 rotating over the northeastern limb. It is too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. B-class events probable with the chance of a C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on February 24 at 14:00 of UT is: N15E88 (Solar X = -937", Solar Y = 253")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
