Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. A series of low C-class and high B-class flares were produced by various regions during the period. The largest event in the period was a C2.2 flare at ~13:10 UT on 24-Mar-2023 from the target region NOAA 13259. 13259 grew slightly in terms of sunspot group and has been designated as a beta/C-type classification. Today the target will stay on this region. If possible, please also include the neighbouring NOAA 13257 (S27W08) and 13256 (S23W28) in your field of view. Additional low C-class flares are expected from various regions in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 13259 on 25-Mar-2023 at 16:30 UT is:
S21W15 (233", -239")
