MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was very low during the past 24 hours. All regions on the visible solar disk are stable. The target today will be NOAA 1944 which is now located beyond the southeastern limb. There is a chance to observe limb activity from 1944 in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1944 on January 15 at 12:30 UT is: S12W91 (Solar X = 953", Solar Y = -203")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
