MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk is spotless, plageless, and nearly featureless. The target filament located in the southern polar zone has disappeared. The new target will be a small somewhat active filament located in the northern polar zone. Deep solar minimum conditions are expected to continue.
The position of the target on August 29 at 09:45 UT is: N45W27 (Solar X = 306", Solar Y = 594")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
