Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at very low levels since the last message. The target region in the southeast quadrant is now classified as a beta region, and has been designated as NOAA 12753, but has remained quiescent. The core of the region has begun to decay but the chance remains for an isolated, low-level event over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12753 on 25-Dec-2019 at 08:30 UT is:
S29E39, ( -538", -449" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
