Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate-to-low level. The target NOAA 13712 (S25E03) continued to be the most flaring region on disk, being the source of more than twenty C-class flares, including the largest magnitude in the period - a C7.2 flare on 15-Jun-2024 at 23:15 UT. 13712 remains a beta-gamma-delta configuration with an approximate area of 850 μH. This region continues to show signs of emerging flux and dynamic sunspot behaviour. Today, we will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 13712 due to the possibility of an isolated >M5 flare in the next 24–48 hours.
The position of NOAA 13712 on 16-Jun-2024 at 19:30 UT is:
S25E03 (-44",-419")
