Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the last message. The largest event was an M1.1 at 03/17/15:04 UT produced by NOAA 13254 (S24W76, beta/B-type). 13254 also produced a C7.3 flare and is rotating to the west limb. Today the target will continue on the east limb region that has been numbered as NOAA 13256 with an alpha/H-type sunspot group. 13256 produced three C-class flares, the largest one being a C9.4 at 03/18/07:10 UT. If possible, please also include the nearby limb region (S25E86) in your field of view, which has also produced three C-class flares. More C-class activities are expected with a chance for low M-class flares in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 13256 on 18-Mar-2023 at 12:30 UT is:
S21E66 (-823", -298")
