Solar activity remains at a high level. NOAA region 12192 emerged
some new magnetic flux during the past 24 hours and still retains
a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group designation. This region
produced several more high C-class events since yesterday's email
as well as an X2.0 flare on 26-Oct-2014 at 10:04 UT. The current
MM#003 Major Flare Watch has been in operation now for a week and
will continue for the next 24-48 hours because NOAA 12192 retains
a strong potential for continued flaring above the M5 level.

The level of solar activity is high. Over the past 24 hours NOAA 12192
initially showed signs of decay before emerging new magnetic flux and
strengthening its delta spot. This active region continues to display
a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group classification. 12192 produced
several high C-class events since yesterday's message and two X-class
events (an X3.1 flare on 24-Oct-2014 at 21:07 UT and an X1.0 flare on
25-Oct-2014 at 16:55 UT that is currently decaying). The MM#003 Major
Flare Watch will continue for the next 24-48 hours as NOAA 12192 still
retains a strong potential for a further flaring above the M5 level.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA 12192 is still the
largest, most complex and flare-productive active region on the
visible disk. This region maintained a beta-gamma-delta/F-type
sunspot group classification and grew slightly in sunspot area
over the past 24 hours to 2740 uh. NOAA 12192 has decreased in
flare frequency somewhat, but still produced 3 C-class events
and an M4.0 flare on 24-Oct-2014 at 07:37 UT. The MM#003 Major
Flare Watch will remain in effect for another 24 hours as NOAA
12192 retains the potential for a flare above the M5 level.

The level of solar activity is moderate-to-high. Activity continues
to be dominated by NOAA region 12192 that has grown in sunspot area
to 2700 uh - the largest spot area recorded since NOAA 10486 during
the Halloween storms of 2003. This active region has maintained a
beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group classification and continues
to emerge new magnetic flux. NOAA 12192 has produced several C-class
flares since the last message and an M1.1 on 23-Oct-2014 at 09:44 UT.
The current MM#003 Major Flare Watch will remain in effect for the
next 24 hours as NOAA 12192 retains the potential for more flaring
above the M5 level.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a high level. NOAA 12192 dominates the visible
disk and has now grown in sunspot area to greater than 2400 uh. This
active region has retained a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group
classification even though the primary leading and primary trailing
spots have separated in the past 24 hours. Since the last message,
NOAA 12192 has produced two M-class flares (an M8.7 on 22-Oct-2014
at 01:16 UT and an M2.7 on 22-Oct-2014 at 05:11 UT) as well as an
X1.6 (on 22-Oct-2014 at 14:02 UT). The existing MM#003 Major Flare
Watch will remain active for the next 24-48 hours since NOAA 12192
continues to emerge new magnetic flux and retains the potential for
further flaring above the M5 level.

area greater than 2000 uh and retaining a beta-gamma-delta/F-type
sunspot group designation. The primary leading and trailing spots
of NOAA 12192 appear to be separating, but this region continues
to emerge new flux. NOAA 12192 has produced C-class activity and
three M-class events since yesterday's message, the largest being
an M1.7 flare on 20-Oct-2014 at 19:53 UT. The MM#003 Major Flare
Watch will remain in effect for at least the next 24 hours because
NOAA 12192 retains the potential for flaring above the M5 level.

The target region, NOAA 12192, has just produced an X1.1 flare, which
peaked at 05:01 UT. The region retains its beta-gamma configuration
with a highly sheared magnetic neutral line, and has a sunspot area of
over 1200 uh. At this time we are implementing a Major Flare Watch
campaign. Flare observations shall continue at the DST, but now there
is an increased likelihood of additional events greater than M5 over
the next 24-48 hours.

The active region on the southeast limb has now been designated as
NOAA 12192, and is classified as having a beta-gamma configuration.
The region has produced several C-class flares since the last message,
as well as an M1.6 at 07:02 UT today. Further low-to-intermediate
level activity is expected over the next 24 hours so the DST Service
Mode Support campaign shall remain in effect. If supporting, please
include NOAA 12192 as your target region between 15-18 UT tomorrow
(Sunday).

on the Sun, having produced several C-class flares since the last
message. The region remains unnumbered and its magnetic configuration
is still unknown, but it shall remain the target region. We are
continuing with the DST Service Mode support campaign at this time,
with further C-level activity expected over the next 24 hours. If
supporting, please select this region as your target between 15-18 UT
tomorrow (Saturday).
