The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 12962 remained
stable since the last message, continuing to be classified as a beta/
C-type sunspot group. The spotted regions on the visible disk have all
been unremarkable in terms of flaring activity since the last message.
A new spotted region currently rotating over the North East limb has
been the source of several C-class events, including the largest flare
of the period - a C2.0 on 8-Mar-2022 at 03:01 UT. These would have all
been foot-point occulted events, so potentially significantly higher
in peak flux if they had occurred on disk. Further C-class activity is
expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 12960 has been
stable and flare-quiet since the last message, remaining classified
as a beta/D-type sunspot group. The target switches to NOAA 12962,
a beta magnetic active region that developed penumbrae on its spots
since the last message. NOAA 12962 had produced multiple low C-class
flares before yesterday's message and, although only producing high
B-class flares since then, it remains one of the more flare-active
of the spotted regions on disk. C-class activity is probable in the
following 24-hour period.

There has been a series of low C-class flares from a newly-emerged
region in the northeast quadrant (NOAA 12962) since the last message.
NOAA 12960 in the southeast quadrant has remained quiescent but
continues to develop with new flux emergence within its core. It shall
continue as the target region for a further 24 hours with low-level
activity possible.

Solar activity continues at the B-level. NOAA 12957 has remained
quiescent since the last message, and has reverted back to a beta
region. The region in the southeast quadrant has been designated as
NOAA 12960, and is classified as a beta/D-type region. It continues to
produce low-level activity, and has developed significantly over the
past 24 hours. It shall be the default target region once again with
further low-to-intermediate level activity possible.

retains its beta-gamma configuration, and has shown signs of further
flux emergence in its trailing portion, but has remained quiescent. It
shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours, with
C-level activity possible.

Dear Collaborators,
There was an M2.0 flare from a spotless NOAA 12958 at 17:31 UT
yesterday, while NOAA 12957 has developed into a beta-gamma/E-type
region, but has remained quiescent. Both regions appear to be
connected by a transequatorial loop system. The unnumbered region near
the southeast limb continued to produce B- and C-level activity since
the last message, but has shown signs of decay. At this time we will
revert the target region back to NOAA 12957, which may become flare
productive if it continues to develop.

Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 12957 has continued to develop since the last message, and was
the source of a C3.0 flare at 09:12 UT today. However, the default
target shall switch to a region currently along the southeast limb
that has been the source of several B-class flares, as well as a C1.9
flare at 04:05 UT today. The magnetic configuration of the region is
uncertain at this time but increased activity is likely over the next
24 hours as it rotates into view.

from several on-disk regions including a new region currently behind
the southeast limb. NOAA 12957, now a beta region, has undergone
significant flux emergence since the last message and shall continue
as the target region. Further B-level activity likely with chance for
an isolated C-class flare if the region continues to develop.

The NOAA 12954/12955 complex has remained quiescent since the last
message. There has been B-level activity from an EFR in the northeast
quadrant, while a pore close to NOAA 12957 in the southeast quadrant
has produced two C-class flares, including a C3.1 at 09:02 UT today.
NOAA 12957 and the surrounding area shall be the new target region
with further B- and C-level activity possible.

MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The largest event since the last message was a C1.5
event at 02/27/06:26 UT. The source was a recently
emerged region (S14E60). It is currently displaying a
B-class/beta sunspot group with several tiny spots.
Target region 2955 was mostly unchanged. The target
position will slightly change to include both 2955 and 2954.
No significant solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hours.
