Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12387 has decayed more over
the past 24 hours, decreasing significantly in spot area and number
of spots. A new (currently unnumbered) region has rotated over the
South East limb within the past 24 hours, and produced the largest
flare in the past 24 hours - a C1.0 on 24-Jul-2015 at 03:07 UT.
This region remains too close to the limb to determine an accurate
classification, but seems to be at least beta magnetic complexity.
B-class activity is expected over the next 24-hour period, with a
good chance for more C-class flaring.
The approximate position of this region on 24-Jul-2015 at 11:30 UT is:

The level of solar activity is very low. Target region NOAA 12387 was
the source of the only flare within the past 24 hours - a B5.3 event
on 21-Jul-2015 at 05:23 UT. This region has slowed in decay, showing
some signs of minor growth in its intermediate spots. NOAA 12387 has
remained classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group over the previous
24 hours. B-class flaring is expected within the next 24 hours.

continued to decrease after yesterday's long-duration C2.1 flare, and
is now at the B2 level. Target region NOAA 12387 has shown more signs
of decay (decreasing in spot area and increasing in number of spots),
but remains classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. B-class flares
are expected in the following 24-hour period.

Solar activity has remained at low levels although there is currently
a long-duration C2 flare in progress due to a filament eruption in the
southwest quadrant. The target region NOAA 12387 remains unchanged and
may even be starting to decay. No further increases in activity
expected at this time.

Quiet-Sun conditions continue. The only event since the last message
was a C1.8 flare from the western limb at 14:28 UT today. The target
region NOAA 12387 has remained quiescent and retains its beta
configuration. No significant increase in activity expected over the
next 24 hours.

Solar activity continues at low levels. The target region in the
northeast quadrant has now been designated as NOAA 12387 and was the
source of two mid-B-level flares since the last message. The region
has a simple beta/C-type magnetic configuration and may produce
additional isolated low-level events over the next 24 hours.

Solar X-ray flux has dropped to the low B-level with no events of note
since the last message. The region in the northeast quadrant remains
unnumbered but is showing slight signs of flux emergence as well as a
dynamic loop system. It shall remain the target region for a further
24 hours although no significant increase in activity is expected at
this time.
