Solar activity has continued at moderate levels since the last message
with numerous C-class flares and an M2.2 flare emanating from the
target region NOAA 12257. The region is now transiting the western
limb and is likely to remain active. Major Flare Watch shall remain in
effect as the potential still exists for an occulted M-level event
over the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target region, NOAA 12257, was the source of an M5.6 flare at
04:13 UT today. The region is still classified as having a
beta-gamma-delta configuration but it is too close to the western limb
to confirm this. At this time we are implementing a Major Flare Watch
campaign due to the increased possibility of another >M5 flare before
west limb passage.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at intermediate levels with C-class flares
emanating from across the disk. Newly-emerged active region NOAA 12260
has been the source of the largest (~C6) events since the last message
but the target region, NOAA 12257, continues to show signs of flux
emergence in its core. The region is now classified as a
beta-gamma-delta region and is likely to produce further C-level
activity with chance for an isolated M-class flare.

12257) was responsible for a series of low to moderate C-class
activity. The mixed-polarity spot within its intermediate portion has
strengthened. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for a
low M-class event.

Solar activity is currently at a low level. Yesterday's target (now
designated as 12259) was responsible for further low C-class activity.
The region has not evolved significantly and exhibits a simple
magnetic cconfiguration. On the other hand, NOAA 12257 has been
actively emerging and now shows evidence for a gamma configuration.
The region was responsible for the largest event since the previous
message, a C9.6 flare on 09-Jan-2014 at 08:17 UT. Further C-class
activity is expected with a chance for a low M-class event.

was responsible for further low C-class activity and the region has
decayed significantly. On the other hand, the new region mentioned in
the previous message is rotating onto the disk at ~S15E85 and has
continued to release a series of C-class events. The region is too
close to the limb to reliably determine its magnetic configuration,
but there is a strong chance that a delta spot is present. The target
will switch to the new region, presently. Further C-class activity is
expected with a chance for an M-class flare.

Solar activity is currently at a moderate to low level. Yesterday's
target (12253) was responsible for moderate to high C-class activity.
The region shows further signs of decay, including a decrease in spot
area and a weakening of its gamma classification. The MFW is ended at
this time. A new region is about to progress onto the East limb, and
was responsible for limb-occulted C-class events so far, including a
C9.7 flare on 06-Jan-2015 at 11:48 UT. The target will remain with
NOAA 12253 for at least the following 24 hours. Further C-class
activity is expected with a chance for a low M-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low to moderate level. Yesterday's target (NOAA
12253) was responsible for a ~C8 flare (currently in decay phase) on
05-Jan-2015 at 17:45 UT, as well as further C-class events. The mixed
polarity spot in the leading portion of the region has decayed
completely. Since the region continues to show large spot area (>800
µh), evidence for a gamma magnetic classification, and continues to
release significant activity, the MFW will continue for at least one
more day. Further C-class activity is expected with the chance for a
>M5 event.
