The level of solar activity is high. NOAA 11882 remains the most active
region on disk. This region is now sufficiently on disk for a reliable
magnetic classification and is designated as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type
sunspot group. NOAA 11882 has grown in area and number of spots in the
previous 24 hours, with the delta consisting of the primary leading and
primary trailing spots. This region continues to produce significant
flare activity (6 M-class events since yesterday's message). The MM#018
Great Flare Watch will remain in effect for the next 24 hours, as 11882
retains the potential for a >X1 flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a high level. NOAA region 11882 has recently rotated
onto the visible disk over the South East limb, but has already produced
2 X-class flares in the past 7 hours (an X1.7 and an X2.1 on 25-Oct-2013
at 07:53 UT and 14:51 UT, respectively). This region is classified as a
beta/D-type sunspot group by NOAA, but its proximity to the limb limits
the accuracy of a magnetic designation. At this time we are initiating a
MM#018 Great Flare Watch, due to NOAA 11882 having produced multiple >X1
flares. Further M-class activity is likely in the next 24 hours, with a
chance for an additional >X1 flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is high. The previous MM#003 Major Flare
Watch (MFW) was called in response to an M9.3 flare that occurred on
24-Oct-2013 at 00:21 UT. At the MFW issue time the originating region
was miss-assigned as NOAA 11875, due to that region showing the decay
of an M3.1 flare in near-realtime imaging. The M9.3 flare originated
from NOAA 11877, to which the MFW target changes now. NOAA 11877 is
classified as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group, but may be in
the process of losing its delta spot. The MFW will remain in effect
for the following 24 hours, due to 11877 having produced a >M5 flare.

The current activity level is high. The target region (NOAA 11875) has just
released a ~M9 flare on 24-Oct-2013 at 00:30 UT. Because of this
significant flare, and region's beta-gamma-delta magnetic classification, a
major flare watch is now enacted. Further M-class activity is likely, with
a good chance for a major flare (>M5).

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains moderate. NOAA region 11875 has
grown in area and decreased in number of spots, while maintaining a
beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group class. Of the multiple delta
spots present within NOAA 11875, the delta in the intermediate spot
region strengthened the most (a result of the merging and maturing
of previously existing spots). This region was the source of seven
C-class flares since the last message, as well as an M4.2 flare on
22-Oct-2013 at 21:15 UT. Further C-class activity is expected in the
next 24 hours, with a good chance for additional low M-class events
and a minor chance of a >=M5.0 event if 11875 undergoes new magnetic
flux emergence.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is now at a moderate level. NOAA region 11875 has grown
in spot area and number of spots in the past 24 hours, while it is now
classified by NOAA as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group. Since
yesterday's message, this region has produced 12 C-class flares and 2
M1.0 flares (on 22-Oct-2013 at 00:14 UT and 14:49 UT). NOAA 11875 now
has several small delta spots located in its trailing and intermediate
portions. C-class events are expected in the following 24 hours, with
a good chance for further low M-class events and a small chance for a
>=M5.0 event. N.B. Despite fulfilling the necessary criteria, we are
*not* initiating a MM#019 DST Flare Campaign at this time due to other
DST targeting commitments.

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 11875 maintained spot
area and a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group classification from NOAA
over the previous 24 hours, while it increased significantly in spot
number. This region has continued to produce low C-class flares since
yesterday's message, with current magnetic observations indicating it
is a beta-gamma-delta region. Further C-class activity is expected in
the next 24 hours, with a chance for an isolated low M-class event if
the delta spot continues to grow in NOAA 11875.

limb. The new target region shall be NOAA 11875 which has produced isolated
C-class flares over the past few days. It has has beta-gamma configuration
with signs of flux emergence in its trailing portion. Possibility of
isolated low-level events over the next 24 hours.

of occulted low C-class flares from behind the western limb since the last
message. The region shall remain the target for a further 24 hours until

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains elevated. A new region near the eastern limb, NOAA
11875, has produced a number of low C-class flares since the last message.
However, NOAA 11861 was the source of a C8.4 flare at 15:15 UT today. NOAA
11861 retains its beta-gamma configuration and shall remain the target
region for another 24 hours as it approaches the western limb. Further
C-level activity expected. The DST will not be performing flare
observations over the weekend and so we are reverting to Default HESSI
Target OP.
