Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was very low during the past 24 hour period.
NOAA 1226 has continued to decay significantly.
It is now classified as an alpha sunspot group but retains
moderately bright H-alpha plage with some minor surging.
B-class events possible with a C-class event less likely
today.
The position of NOAA 1226 on June 08 at 15:30 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Nearly spotless target region, NOAA 1226, was the source of an
isolated M-class event (M2.5 at 06/07/06:41 UT). This event
was associated with a very sensational large and fast CME.
1226 has been decaying over the past several days with only a
few small spots currently visible. A C-class event is still possible
within the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1226 on June 07 at 15:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, NOAA 1226, produced a C1.2 event at 06/06/01:35
and a C1.0 at 06/06/09:50 UT. 1226 continues to slowly decay.
There is a slight possibility that 1226 could produce another
low level C-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1226 on June 06 at 15:30 UT is:

All regions on the visible solar disk are in decay phase.
The target region has lost significant sunspot area but there
remains a slight possiblity it could produce a C-class event
in the next 24 hours.

NOAA 1226 continued to slowly add new flux within its
following polarity portion. 1226 was the source of two
C-class events since the last message. The largest
was a C2.5 at 06/03/16:17 UT. Another C-class event
is possible in the next 24 hour period.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, NOAA 1226, was the source of 6 C-class events
during the last 24 hour period. The largest was a long duration
C4.1 event at 06/01/17:08 UT. This event was associated with
a filament eruption and CME. 1226 is slowly decaying. Its
sunspot group is classified D-type/beta. Another C-class event
is possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1226 on June 02 at 10:30 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was low in the last 24 hours.
The largest x-ray event was a C2.6 at 06/01/02:53 UT.
The source region was NOAA 1228 (N16E41).
1228 is a C-type sunspot group with a simple beta
magnetic configuration. Target region, NOAA 1226,
only managed to produce a B6.9 and a B7.5 during
the last period. 1226 is classified D-type/beta and continues
in slow decay phase. Solar flare activity is expected to
continue at a low level for the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1226 on June 01 at 15:30 UT is:
S22E18 (Solar X = -272", Solar Y = -343")

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
There were two C-class events since the last message.
NOAA 1226 produced a C1.7 at 05/31/05:53 and NOAA 1227
produced a C1.8 at 05/31/04:43 UT. Both regions are slowly
decaying. The target region will continue to be 1226 but if
possible, include 1227 within your F-O-V.

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1226 and 1227 were the source of several C-class events
since the last message. The largest was a C8.7 event at
05/29/21:15 UT. Its source region was NOAA 1227 located
just east of NOAA 1226. Both regions have beta-gamma
magnetic configurations. Additional C-class activity expected
with a slight chance of an M-class event in the next 24 hours.
If possible, include both 1226 and 1227 within your F-O-V.

S21E48 (Solar X = -658", Solar Y = -330")
The position of 1226/1227 on May 30 at 10:30 UT is:
S20E55 (Solar X = -730", Solar Y = -316")
