Solar activity remains at mid-low levels. There have been numerous B
class flares produced by NOAA 11271 and 11272 along with two low C
class flares. There are two new active regions on the east limb - NOAA
11274 and 11275. 11274 appears to be in decay although it is unclear
whether 11275 is emerging or decaying at this point in time. Although
11271 and 11272 are also in their decay phases, 11271 will continue to
be todays target as it is the largest region on disk with the most
number of sunspots. C class activity is possible.

Solar activity remains at low levels. NOAA 11271 produced the largest
flare of the last 24 hours - a C2.9 - at 23:00 UT. There is a newly
numbered region near the north east limb, NOAA 11274, whose magnetic
topology is difficult to determine due to its proximity to the limb.
As such, today's target will remain NOAA 11271. Although clearly in
decay, this region is now at disk center and is retaining its
penumbral sunspots and some of its magnetic complexity. C-class
activity possible.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is low although NOAA 11271 and 11272 have produced
multiple B class flares between them. Both regions appear to be in the
early stages of decay with signs of fragmentation particularly clear
in 11271 which has also lost its delta classification. Despite this,
11271 will continue to be todays target as it retains a beta-gamma
classification and has three large, bipolar sunspots all of which have
strong penumbra. C class activity is possible over the next 24 hours.

Activity levels have been low over the past 24 hours with only minor B
class flares produced. A new region - NOAA 11273 - has emerged in the
south west quadrant and appears to be reasonably simple and compact at
this time. NOAA 11272 remains largely unchanged and may still be the
source of some mid size flares. NOAA 11271 will continue to be the
target of choice today. It is holding its large, complex structure and
retains its beta-gamma-delta classification.

Solar activity continues at moderate levels with continued C class
activity from NOAA 11271 and 11272. Although both regions are likely
to flare, NOAA 11271 will continue as today's target. Its
beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration, bright H-alpha along the
magnetic inversion line and multiple large, penumbral sunspots make it
the best candidate for >=M class activity.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Activity levels are increasing slightly with the rotation of NOAA
11272 onto the disk in addition to 11271. These two regions, both in
the eastern hemisphere, have been producing C-class activity over the
past 24 hours. Although 11272 does not share the magnetic complexity
or the number of sunspots as 11271, it is still a large, flare
producing region that is bright in H-alpha. However, NOAA 11271
remains the most likely source of a large flare. With its multipolar
magnetic field configuration and large, filamentary penumbral spots,
this region will continue to be todays target. Continued C class
flares probable with a possibility of some M class activity.

Activity is beginning to increase as NOAA 11271 and the still
unnumbered region on the south east limb rotate onto the disk. NOAA
11271 is showing signs of significant complexity: multiple large
sunspots and multipolar topology. This region which is bright in
H-alpha, EUV and X-rays will most likely continue to produce C class
activity. In addition, some M-class activity may be possible.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The solar disk continues to be very quiet today. However, there are
now two regions approaching the east limb - one in the north and one
in the south. Both of these regions have produced occulted C flares in
the past 24 hours are are likely to continue to do so. Today's target
will continue to be the newly numbered NOAA 11271 on the north eastern
limb as STEREO B observations indicate that it is slightly closer to
the solar limb. In addition, it is possible to ascertain the presence
of at least one large sunspot, although the magnetic complexity
remains indeterminate.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
All of the active regions on disk are in their decay phases with none
showing much promise of significant flaring activity. However, a B
class flare was observed from a highly occulted active region on the
east limb at approximately 09:45 UT. This region may be the return of
NOAA 11260 which produced a huge number of C and M class flares during
its previous passage. As such, todays target will be the east limb at
the position of this active region as it is the most likely source of
flaring activity in the next 24 hours.
