Solar activity has slightly decreased since the last message.
The largest events in the period are two C9.0 flares (at 00:23 UT
and 04:50 UT, respectively) today produced by the target region
NOAA 13561. This region was still the most flare-productive
during its approach to the South West limb, and it retains a
beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. Today the target shall
continue as NOAA 13561 due to its recent flaring history.
Additional C-class activities are expected with a slight chance
of a low-M flare over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to a moderate level. The target
region NOAA 13561 has produced multiple flares, with
the largest being an M1.3 flare at 20:44 UT on 24-Jan-2024.
13561 retains a beta-gamma/D-type configuration. Today
we shall end the Major Flare Watch campaign but the
default target should remain with NOAA 13561. Please also
include NOAA 13555 (S12W60, beta/C-type) in your
field of view if possible, which was a source of 5 low-C flares.
Further C-class activities are expected with a slight chance
of a >M5 flare in the coming 24-hour period.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has slightly decreased since the last
message. The largest event was an M4.3 flare at 16:36 UT on
23-Jan-2024 from NOAA 13561. It was the most productive
region and the source of multiple low-M flares. 13561 has
increased in magnetic complexity to be a beta-gamma/D-type
sunspot group, with signs of shearing and additional flux
emergence. Today the Major Flare Watch shall switch to NOAA
13561. Yesterday’s target NOAA 13559 only produced a few
C-class flares. Further C-class activities are expected over the
following 24-48 hours, with a chance of an above M5 flare.

Solar activity has been at a high level since the last message.
The largest event was an M5.1 flare at 03:09 UT today from
the target region NOAA 13559. This region retains a beta-gamma/F-type
configuration and still increased in sunspot size and counts, with an
area of 360uH. The target shall remain with NOAA 13559, although
we are issuing a Major Flare Watch alert at this time due to the
increased possibility of another >M5 flare within the next 24-48 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached a moderate level due to an M1.5 flare
at 03:59 UT today produced by the target region NOAA 13559.
This region was also the source of multiple C-class flares. It has
developed to a beta-gamma/F-type configuration and still
experienced the emergence of new magnetic fluxes with mixed
polarities. The target shall continue as NOAA 13559 because of
its increased magnetic complexity and current level of flaring.
Further C-class flares are expected with a chance of another
M-class flare in the coming days.

The largest event was a C6.3 flare at 01:57 UT today
produced by the target region NOAA 13559. 13559
also produced two C5 flares and seven low C-class
flares. It has been designated as a beta/E-type sunspot
group with increasing the sunspot area and number
of spots. More C-class activities are expected with a
change of M-class flares in the next few days.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. The largest event
since the last message was a C3.5 flare at 08:35 UT today,
associated with a filament eruption near the regions of
NOAA 13555 and 13557. Yesterday's target NOAA 13553
has been flare quiet. Today the target will switch to
NOAA 13559 as mentioned in the previous message.
13559 retains a beta/D-type configuration but increases
in the sunspot area and number of spots. It produced a
C1.7 and three high B-class flares (B8.5, B9.6, and B9.6).
There are also a few ~C1 flares produced by some other
regions. Additional C-class activities are expected in the
next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a very low level since the last
message. The largest event during the period was a C2.3
flare at 12:23 UT yesterday produced by the target region
NOAA 13553. 13553 also produced another two flares
(C2.2 and C1.3). It retains a beta/C-type configuration.
Today we will continue to watch this region for a further
24 hours. Please note that a newly numbered region
NOAA 13559 was designated as a beta/D-type configuration
and is showing magnetic flux emergence, which has a
potential to produce high C-class flares in the next few days.
Further C-class activities are expected from the target region
and also from 13559.

Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message.
The largest event in the period was a C5.4 flare at 03:59 UT
today produced by NOAA 13553. 13553 also produced another
three ~C2 flares and had a beta/C-type configuration. Today
the target will switch to 13553 although it appears to decay.
Yesterday's limb target produced three ~C2 flares yesterday
and has been quiet today. There were also a few low C-class
flares emerged from some other regions. Additional C-class
activities are expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at low levels since the last message.
Yesterday's target NOAA 13541 only produced two C1 flares. This
region retains a beta/C-type configuration but decreases in the
sunspot area and number of spots significantly. Today the target
will switch to a northeast limb region, which has produced three
C-class flares including the largest one in the period, a C2.6 flare
at 07:17 UT today. This limb region is rotating onto the visible disk.
Further C-class activities are expected in the next 24 hours.
