Solar activity is beginning to diminish with NOAA 13190 and NOAA 13192
now beyond the western limb, although NOAA 13192 produced three low
M-class flares since the last message. While the magnetic
configuration of both regions is now uncertain, the looptops of NOAA
13190 shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours.
Chance remains for an isolated intermediate level event.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message with a series of
C-class flares from both NOAA 13190 and NOAA 13192 on the southwest
and northwest limbs, respectively. NOAA 13190 was also the source of
an M4.7 flare at 09:37 UT today. NOAA 13190 is still classified as a
beta-gamma-delta region and shall remain the target region for a
further 24 hours. Continued C-level activity likely with chance for an
additional isolated M-class flare before the region transits the
western limb.

Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 13190 continues to dominate the solar disk as it approaches the
southwest limb and has produced multiple low-to-moderate C-class
flares over the past 24 hours. The largest event since the last
message was an eruptive C9.5 flare that occurred to the north of NOAA
13192 in the northwest quadrant. NOAA 13190 retains its
beta-gamma-delta configuration and shall remain the target region.
Further intermediate level activity expected with chance for a low
M-class flare before west limb passage.

Solar activity continues at intermediate levels with sustained C-level
activity from NOAA 13190 as it approaches the western limb. It was
also the source of an M1.6 flare at 16:49 UT yesterday. The region
retains its beta-gamma-delta configuration and has shown signs of
development since the last message. NOAA 13190 shall continue as the
target region for the next 24 hours with further high-C/low-M-level
activity possible.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low-to-moderate. Target NOAA 13190
continued its slow decrease in total sunspot area after the last
message, but has now been confirmed as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type
sunspot group. Despite this overall decay, the delta spot in NOAA
13190 grew in area during the period and 13190 was the source of
the largest magnitude flare - an M1.1 on 22-Jan-2023 at 12:12 UT.
More C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period,
with a good chance for another M-class flare.

Solar activity is at a low level. Target NOAA 13190 has decayed
slightly in sunspot area since the last message but it remained
classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. This region was
flare-quiet in the period, but appears to now have a delta spot
configuration due to the small positive polarity spot that is on
the northern edge of the primary negative polarity spot. More
C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance
for an M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target NOAA 13196 slowed in
its flux emergence shortly after the last message, achieving a
beta/D-type sunspot group classification. This region produced
three C-class flares in the period, the largest being a C3.6 on
19-Jan-2023 at 19:32 UT. The most flare-productive region was
NOAA 13190 with five C-class flares that included the largest
magnitude event in the period, a C6.7 flare on 20-Jan-2023 at
01:34 UT. The target now returns to NOAA 13190, which remains
classed as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. Further C-class
activity is expected in the following 24-hour period, with a
chance for an isolated M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 13190 was
relatively stable in terms of sunspot area and complexity since the
last message, remaining classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot
group and producing just a single flare in the period - a C7.3 on
19-Jan-2023 at 05:26 UT. Newly numbered region NOAA 13196 emerged
yesterday to the East of NOAA 13192 and has already produced three
C-class and two M-class events, the largest being an M1.7 flare on
19-Jan-2023 at 10:06 UT (which was also the largest magnitude flare
in the period). The target will now change to NOAA 13196 as it is
still emerging magnetic flux, and there are another two small spot
regions that are in the process of emerging near to it in the North
East quadrant. Additional C-class flares are expected over the next
24 hours, with a good chance for more M-class activity.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13192
decayed since since the last message, decreasing slightly in spot
area and losing its internal mixing designation to be classified
as a beta/F-type sunspot group. This region has produced several
C-class flares in the period but NOAA 13190 produced the largest
flares, including two M1.8 flares on 17-Jan-2023 at 23:16 UT and
18-Jan-2023 at 10:21 UT. This increase in activity by NOAA 13190
comes despite losing its delta-spot designation (now classified
as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group). The target changes now to
NOAA 13190. Further C-class activity is expected in the following
24-hour period, with a good chance for additional M-class flares.

Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 13191 has
grown in spot area since the last message but decreased in its
magnetic complexity to be designated as a beta/D-type sunspot
group. This region has been flare-quiet in the period. Nearby
region NOAA 13192 has increased in spot area and overall size
to be classified as a beta-gamma/F-type sunspot group, and was
the source of two C-class events - the largest being a C9.4 on
17-Jan-2023 at 00:02 UT that was also the largest flare in the
period. The target switches to NOAA 13192. More C-class flares
are expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for an
isolated M-class flare.
