Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained very low. The largest event since the last message was a C1.3 flare at 21:19 UT yesterday from NOAA 14357 (S13W27). The target region NOAA 14351 produced a few low-level (possibly B-class) flares during the period. Today, we will continue to monitor this region until it fully rotates over the west limb.
The position of NOAA 14351 on 29-Jan-2026 12:30 UT is:
S04W81 (959",-52")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
