MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity remains at a very low level. The target region (NOAA 1775, S26W78) continues to decay. NOAA 1778 has minor emerging flux within its trailing plage area which is adding to its magnetic complexity resulting in an E-type/beta-gamma classification. The target region will switch from 1775 to 1778 today. 1778 was the source of a minor C1.2 event at 06/27/08:14 UT. Another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1778 on June 27 at 13:00 UT is: S17E19 (Solar X = -295", Solar Y = -314")
