Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Target region NOAA 13730 was the source of the largest magnitude flare in the period - an M1.4 on 4-Jul-2024 at 19:54 UT. After this NOAA 13730 decayed to the point of losing all its spots to become an unnumbered plage region. NOAA 13733 increased quite significantly in sunspot area since the last message, but remained classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group and only produced one C-class flare (a C3.5 on 4-Jul-2024 at 17:59 UT). Newly numbered NOAA 13737 (a beta/D-type spot group) was the most flare-productive region with generating four C-class flares, the largest of which being a C4.1 on 5-Jul-2024 at 15:06 UT. NOAA 13737 becomes the new target for the next 24 hours while it rotates up to the South West limb. Additional C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for further low M-class activity.
