MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target filament located in the northern polar zone continues to weaken losing all of its eastern segments. The target will switch to a new small bipolar Cycle 25 EFR. The region at this stage contains a few pores. No noteworthy solar flare events expected anytime soon.
The position of the target region on June 27 at 06:45 UT is: S25W56 (Solar X = 711", Solar Y = -420")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
