Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased significantly since the last message. The largest event was an M9.3 flare at 12:51 UT today produced by a southeast limb region (unnumbered yet). At this time we are implementing the Major Flare Watch campaign on this limb region that is rotating onto the visible solar disk. It should be mentioned that NOAA 13712 and 13716 produced an M1.3 and an M2.4 flare respectively in the period, both of which are rotating over the west limb. Additional low M-class activities are expected with a chance of an isolated >M5 flare in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on June 23 at 15:30 UT is:
S19E75 (-900", -300")
