Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Quiescent solar conditions continue with the solar X-ray flux remaining steady around the mid-B-level. A large alpha spot has appeared on the southeast limb but has not resulted in any increased activity. NOAA 11580 shall remain the target region for a further 24 hours although no significant increase in activity is expected at this time.
The position of NOAA 11580 on 27-Sep-2012 at 09:00 UT is:
N17E48, ( -682", 205" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
