MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current visible solar disk is spotless and plageless. Solar flare activity remains at an extremely low level. No noteworthy solar flare events expected anytime soon. The target filament was less active in the past 24 hours but will continue to be the target for the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on Sept. 08 at 15:00 UT is: N53W64 (Solar X = 516", Solar Y = 724")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
