Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. Target region NOAA 12839 has continued to decay over the past 24 hours and now is classified as an alpha/A-type sunspot group. This region has been flare-quiet since yesterday's message and the only region that produced B-class activity was NOAA 12840. A new small flux region has rotated over the South East limb and displays a single spot. This will become the target region because NOAA 12840 has rotated up to the North East limb. B-class activity is possible in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 8-Jul-2021 at 21:30 UT is:
S19E78 , ( -873", -319" )
