Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. A small number of flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C2.1 from NOAA 14161 at 19:23 UT yesterday. Activity on the solar disk appears relatively quiet with low levels of emerging flux. NOAA 14155 still retains the highest number of sunspots of any region on the disk and shows minor evidence of sunspot dynamism. NOAA 14155 will continue as the target region. Further C-class activity is anticipated.
The approximate position of NOAA 14155 on 31-July-2025 at 11:30 UT is
S09W29, (459", -150") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
