Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. The target region NOAA 14048 (beta-gamma/F-type) remained the most flare-productive region on the disk, producing eight low C-class flares and the largest magnitude event in the period —an M1.6 flare at 22:08 UT yesterday. Today, NOAA 14048 shall remain the target region despite showing signs of decay. Additionally, NOAA 14055 (N08W14, beta/C-type) and a northeast limb region (N08E88) produced several low C-class flares during the period. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of additional low M-class flares within the following 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14048 on 9-Apr-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
S16W61 (806",-216")
