Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is currently at B-level with occulted flares still being produced by NOAA 12918, which is now behind the northwest limb. The rest of the visible solar disk remains quiescent and so the looptops of NOAA 12918 shall remain the target region for a further 24 hours. Isolated, occulted low-level events possible.
The approximate position of NOAA 12918 on 3-Jan-2022 at 12:30 UT is:
N22W91, (903", 363")
