Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at a low level. A small number of flares were produced, the largest being an M1.0 from NOAA 13981 at 00:30 UT today. NOAA 13981 continues to traverse the northwest limb but remains in view. Additional active regions from beyond the eastern limb appear to be emerging and may move onto the disk in the coming days. NOAA 13981 will continue as the target region while it remains in view. Additional C-class activity is expected with a chance for a partially occulted event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13981 on 10-February-2025 at 12:30 UT is:
N07W76, (936", 144") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
