Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was very low during the past 24 hours. Target region NOAA 2740 continues to decay and was quiescent. The target will switch to NOAA 2741. The curved filament located south and west of 2741 became active and the southern portion erupted. B-class events possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2741 on May 12 at 12:45 UT is: N06E06 Solar X = -099", Solar Y = 149")
