Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains low. A small number of flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C1.8 from NOAA 14246 at 21:56 UT yesterday. The bright region beyond the southeastern limb continues to progress onto the disk, however no new active regions have been numbered since the last message. Due to the substantial decay of NOAA 14249 and the increase in complexity of NOAA 14248 to a beta-gamma type region, the target region will switch to NOAA 14248. Further C-class activity is expected.
The position of NOAA 14248 on 11-October-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N08E40, (-613", 55") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
