Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. The largest event since the last message was a C1.4 flare at 11:59 UT today, produced by a spotless region near the southwest limb. This region also produced a B6.4 flare. Today, the target will switch to this limb region, due to its return to C-class flaring. Yesterday’s target, NOAA 14266 (beta/C-type, N17W46), became quiescent during the period. Further B-class activity is expected, with a chance for another low-C flare in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on 30-Oct-2025 at 12:30 UT is:
S09W88 (950", -150")
