Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a low level, except for some prominence activity over the Northeast limb. The largest X-ray event in the last 24 hours was a C2.5 flare at 22:32 UT yesterday (5/22) from the target region, NOAA 14095, which is now classified as a beta-gamma type.
There are a few regions on the disk undergoing new flux emergence: NOAA 14097 in the Southeast quadrant, an unnumbered region emerged at Northeast of 14090. NOAA 14094 is also adding new flux. However, it is still uncertain if they grow further or fade away soon.
Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14095 going over the Southwest limb, expecting additional C class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 14095 on 23-May-2025 at 15:30 UT is: S05W79 (927", -86").
