Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message. There were several C-class flares during the past 24 hours with the largest being a C6.2 event from behind the Southeast limb.
NOAA 13863 showed new flux emergence in the East of the main (negative) sunspot yesterday and has produced several C class flares including a C5.0 flare at 22:42 UT on 10/20. We will observe the NOAA 13863 on the area of newly emerged spots as the default target for the next 24 hours. Additional C class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 13863 on 21-October-2024 at 16:00 UT is: S08E38 (-593",-213").
