Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The old region NOAA 12774 that lies beyond the South West limb produced a second C-class flare shortly after the last message was sent (a C3.5 on 16-Oct-2020 at 14:57 UT). The target region remains as NOAA 12776, which has been stable and continues to be classed as a beta/C-type sunspot group. Low B-class flares are probable over the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 12776 on 17-Oct-2020 at 14:30 UT is:
S14E32 , ( -497", -311" )
