Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is low. The largest event since the last message was a C1.2 at 02:48 UT on February 6 produced by the target region NOAA 12494. 12494 has decayed to a D-type/beta-gamma region but increasing in sunspot area and number of spots. It is showing flux cancellation in the center of its leading positive spot, also showing mixed polarities in its intermediate portion. It continues to interact with the region NOAA 12491 (N02W06) through a filament. Low level activities are expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 12494 on February 6 at 15:30 UT is:
S12W13 (Solar X = 214", Solar Y = -98")
