Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity persists at a low level. Several flares were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being an occulted C9.9 at 09:29 UT today from a currently unnumbered active region over the northeastern limb. NOAA 14284 produced no further flares since the last message and appears stable. However, for now, NOAA 14284 will remain the target region, but attention should also be paid to the northeastern limb surrounding the currently occulted active region as it begins its transit onto the solar disk. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14284 on 19-November-2025 at 12:30 UT is
S07W39, (608", -148") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
