Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a moderate level. The target region NOAA 12965 was the source of two low M-class flares (an M1.4 at 03/15/12:33 UT and an M1.5 at 03/15/22:39 UT), five C-class flares, and also five B-class flares. 12965 retains a beta-gamma/F-type configuration while decreasing in the sunspot area. It continues showing mixed polarities in both of its leading and trailing portions. Further low M-class flares are likely and More C-class flares are expected in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 12965 on March 16 at 16:30 UT is:
N24W27 (401",488")
