Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last message. The target region NOAA 14409, approaching the West limb, produced an M1.1 flare at 8:23 UT today(4/9), in addition to several high-B to low-C class events in the last 24 hours. NOAA 14414, rotated from the Northeastern limb produced a C8.7 flare yesterday, but keeps quiet for more than 10 hours.
Today NOAA 14409 shall remain the target while it undergoes West-limb transit. Additional high-B to C class flares are expected, with a chance of another M-class event.
The position of the target in NOAA 14409 on 9-April-2026 at 16:00 UT is: N01W79 (940", 38").
