MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target region, now numbered NOAA 1471, has rotated onto the visible disk. 1471 is still too close to the limb to ascertain it magnetic configuration but it appears that there is a tiny opposite polarity spot located within the penumbra of the large leading polarity umbra. A C-class event possible with a slight chance of an M-class event.
The position of NOAA 1471 on April 29 at 13:00 UT is: S23E68 (Solar X = -814", Solar Y = -347")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
