Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message. The target region NOAA 14312 produced an M1.1 flare at 07:36 UT today plus two low B-class flares. It retains an Alpha/H-type configuration. Please note that NOAA 14307 (S15W90) also produced an M1.0 flare yesterday when it was rotating beyond the west limb. Today we continue to watch NOAA 14312, with C-class activities expected and some chance of additional low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of NOAA 14312 on December 20 at 09:00 UT is: N19E46 (-700", 360")
