Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to background levels with NOAA 12257 now behind the western limb. The new target region shall be NOAA 12259, a small beta-delta region in the southwest quadrant. This region has been in decay over the past few days and is unlikely to produce any significant activity over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12259 on 16-Jan-2015 at 12:35 UT is:
S16W31, ( 484", -203" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
