MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk is spotless, plageless and nearly featureless. Solar activity will continue at an extremely low level for an extended period of time. The target filament located in the northern polar zone has, at times, shown an active phase in the past 24 hours.
The position of the target on August 30 at 11:45 UT is: N46W44 (Solar X = 460", Solar Y = 621")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
