Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at low levels despite the appearance of several new active regions on the visible disk. A newly numbered region, NOAA 11249, close to disk center was the source of a C2.6 flare at 10:47 UT today and shall be the new target region. Additional isolated low-level events possible.
The position of NOAA 11249 on 11-Jul-2011 at 12:30 UT is:
S16E04, ( -62", -323" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
