Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a low level since the last message. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C1.1 flare at 10:08 UT today(4/11) produced by NOAA 14416. This is a new region that emerged in the West of NOAA 14414 yesterday, and is crossing the North central meridian today. NOAA 14416 is currently classified as a beta-type, but showing a sign of further flux emergence adding new sunspots. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14414 has been stable with no flare activity in the last 12 hours.
Today we will switch the target to NOAA 14416 to monitor its growth. Additional C class activities are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14416 on 11-April-2026 at 15:30 UT is: N19E05 (-94", 409").
