Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels. The two ~B1 events since the last message were both from the alpha region NOAA 12794. NOAA 12795 has remained quiescent and continues to decay. It shall continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours although no increase in activity is expected at this time.
The position of NOAA 12795 on 29-Dec-2020 at 12:30 UT is:
S17W05, ( 81", -241" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
