Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target NOAA 12891 has decayed since the last message, decreasing in sunspot area and number of spots but remains classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. This region has also only produced one B-class flare since its C5.2 on 3-Nov-2021. A new region is currently rotating over the South East limb and has been the source of two C-class flares, including the largest event of the period - a C3.5 flare on 4-Nov-2021 at 10:34 UT (that was likely foot-point occulted). This new region becomes the target region. C-class flares are likely in the following 24- hour period, with a small chance for an M-class flare.
The approximate position of this region on 4-Nov-2021 at 19:00 UT is:
S28E90 , ( -854", -453" )
