Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has come down to a low level since the last message. The target region, NOAA 14087 added one mid-M class flare (M4.7 at 17:59 on 5/14) and after that somewhat has hit a lull only produced a few low-C class flares. However, the trailing sunspots turned out to have a delta configuration and thus have high potential of producing another major flares.
Today we will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign with NOAA 14087 for the next 24 hours. We will continue to observe the area of its trailing sunspots, expecting additional M class flares or larger.
The position of the target in NOAA 14087 on 15-May-2025 at 15:30 UT is: N17E47 (-667", 309").
