Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Current solar activity is low. NOAA region 12056 has continued to decay, although it was responsible for several C-class events, including the largest since the previous message, a C3.4 flare on 11-May-2014 at 19:14 UT. While NOAA 12058 has rapidly emerged flux over the previous 24 hours, it does not exhibit a strong polarity separation line (PSL) and has not yet been responsible for significant activity. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance for a high C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12056 on 12-May-2014 22:15 UT is:
N05W09, ( 154", 131" )
