Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at low levels. The new target region on the southeast limb remains unnumbered but has produced several more low B-class flares since the last message, along with nearby NOAA 12924. The target region appears to be a compact beta region surrounded by decaying plage. Further low level activity possible over the next 24 hours. Also include NOAA 12924 in your field of view if possible.
The approximate position of the target region on 5-Jan-2022 at 12:30 UT is:
S31E84, ( -832", -496" )
